PHOENIX - Police say three people have been taken to the hospital after a two-vehicle accident in Phoenix Friday night.
The crash happened on 51st Avenue near Thunderbird Road when a passenger car turned left in front of a van with two teens, according to Phoenix police.
Sgt. Thomas Leister said the injuries to the older man driving the passenger car were not immediately known. He said the injuries to the teens in the van included rib pain and a broken hip.
All three went to Valley hospitals.
Leister said it did not appear impairment was a factor in the crash.
