PHOENIX - Authorities say one person has died in a multi-vehicle accident on a north Valley freeway.

The Department of Public Safety says the accident happened around 8:30 a.m. on the eastbound State Route 101 at 59th Avenue.

The crash involved a motorcycle.

There was no immediate word on the victim.
