Woman pleads guilty in luggage theft case

PHOENIX - A woman accused of helping steal hundreds of pieces of luggage from Sky Harbor Airport pleaded guilty in court Tuesday to two counts of theft, trafficking in stolen property and dangerous drug violation.
Stacy King, 39, and her husband Keith King, 61, were arrested last November.
Stacy was charged with 27 counts of theft, drugs and tampering with evidence.
The pair was caught last October when an officer noticed Keith enter the airport terminal from outside and take a piece of luggage from the carousel.
He was arrested when it was discovered the bag was not his. Police say Keith later returned to the airport and stole more luggage and authorities followed him home.
Stacy and Keith were arrested November 2 and investigators found their 14-room Waddell home filled from floor to ceiling with luggage.
Keith faces 44 counts, including theft, burglary and drugs.
Stacy's sentencing is set for July 19.
