PHOENIX - Voters can cast ballots in Phoenix's upcoming special municipal election beginning on Saturday at 27 voting sites across the city.

Tuesday's ballot consists of proposals to change the city's employee retirement system and give private security guards the power to cite passengers who ride the metro area's light rail system without paying a fare.

Voting locations will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday and 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday.

Voters will have to present one form of photo ID, such as a driver's license, or two forms of non-photo ID that contain a name and address.

Officials say those without acceptable identification may cast a provisional ballot, but may have to present a proper ID later.
