PHOENIX - A man who pleaded guilty to several robberies of fast food restaurants around the Phoenix metropolitan area has been sentenced to four years in prison.

Maricopa County prosecutors say 20-year-old Vincent Nitura of Phoenix was sentenced Wednesday.

Nitura pleaded guilty last month to three counts of armed robbery.

He was arrested in the case in early January along with two other men. The trio was dubbed by police as the "Fast Food Bandits."

Police say the men allegedly were involved in seven robberies from September 2011 to last Nov. 7.
