PHOENIX - Good news for a Valley teen! His prized trumpet, that someone stole out of his car Sunday , has been returned.

Darian Harmon said not only is the trumpet a rare and expensive instrument, it was first owned by his great grandfather when he played for the Phoenix Symphony and other gigs across the country back in the 60's.

Harmon's mother Jocelyn said the reward she offered to a witness who saw what happened worked and he was able to get the trumpet and return it.

Jocelyn also said someone saw the story on ABC15, saw her reward posting on Craigslist, contacted them and offered to replace Darian's trumpet so he wouldn't need to use the school one.

Joceyeln said "knowing someone is that thoughtful counterbalanced the inconsiderateness of the theft."
