PHOENIX - If you take the bus to work or school, you may want to double check your schedule.

Dozens of bus routes will see changes starting Monday with some added and others eliminated.

Here are two new additions to the Valley Metro system: Avondale's ZOOM circulator will now have Saturday service and new stops at Southwest Valley YMCA. It will also make multiple stops in Tolleson.

A new Central/South Mountain RAPID service will travel from 27th Avenue and Baseline to Downtown and the Capitol area.

There will be elimination of routes, either partially or completely. This will impact several routes, including routes 1,3,7, 41, 50, 520, 540, 571.

Valley Metro says a decrease in sales tax revenue is the cause of cuts. That's the main source of funding.
