PHOENIX - A Phoenix-area business group is expressing concern about the prospect of US Airways relocating its headquarters from Tempe to Texas if it merges with American Airlines.

The North Scottsdale Chamber of Commerce plans Tuesday to release results of a new economic study it commissioned on a possible merger.

Executive Director Joe Galli says study performed by economist Elliott Pollack indicates that Arizona's economy would lose a large number of jobs.

US Airways and American are engaged in confidential talks on a possible merger.

US Airways has said that it would move its headquarters from Tempe to American's in Fort Worth.
