Two injured after being shot at bus stop in central Phoenix

PHOENIX, AZ - Phoenix Police are looking for the suspect who was involved in a shooting in central Phoenix on Saturday morning.

Sgt. Steve Martos said a 16-year-old male and a 22-year-old male were shot at a bus stop near 7th Street and Indian School Road.

Martos said after they were shot they obtained assistance at a nearby residence.

The 16-year-old is in serious condition, and the 22-year-old has a non-life threatening injury.

Phoenix police say witnesses have described the suspect as a Hispanic or Black male.

Police say witnesses told them they saw the victims and the suspect get into an altercation before the shooting happened.
