MESA, AZ - Valley homeowners had a startling wake-up call overnight when a truck crashed into their garage.
Mesa police said the accident occurred overnight near 8th Avenue and Stapley Drive.
The driver of a truck somehow lost control of the vehicle, hopped a curb and drove over a wooden fence before crashing into the garage, according to police.
To make matters worse, the driver then put the truck in reverse and drove off.
Police have not released a description of the truck, but say it will have front-end damage. A bumper was found near the site of the crash.
Fortunately, no one inside the home was injured.
