PHOENIX - Authorities say three children were injured in a head-on collision Tuesday at a Phoenix intersection.
According to Phoenix fire spokesman Jonathan Jacobs, the two-vehicle crash happened at 19th Avenue and Thomas Road around 12:30 p.m.
There were five patients total, including three children, Jacobs said.
All the children were transported to a local hospital, but their conditions were unclear.
One of the adults was also transported to a hospital. The other adult was evaluated and released at the scene.
Air15 video showed a sedan severely damaged, sitting in the middle of the road.
Another vehicle, a pickup truck, was seen parked along a sidewalk nearby with some minor damage.
The cause of the crash was not immediately known.
