PHOENIX - Employees of a Valley Hispanic community group showed up to work Friday to find three air conditioning units had been vandalized.
Chicanos Por La Causa spokeswoman Amanda Roberson said that some time overnight thieves took apart the units at the group's Phoenix office, near 11th Street and Buckeye Road, and stole most of the parts.
Roberson said when the A/C units were damaged, it also caused damage to a portion of the building's phone lines.
The phone lines have been repaired and the damage was estimated to be $15,000, according to Roberson.
