PHOENIX - Most cat owners aren’t known for teaching their feline friends any cool tricks, and cats aren’t generally known for their willingness to perform on command.
But there’s a show in town that may change the way you think about the common house cat.
For the first time, the Amazing Acro-Cats are performing in Phoenix at Space 55 Theatre Ensemble.
The troupe displays remarkable feline agility by performing tricks like pushing shopping carts, rolling barrels, walking tightropes and much more.
There is also the “Rock-Cats”, a cat band with a chicken who plays a mean tambourine.
The talented ensemble works under the training of Samantha Martin. The feline behavioral expert has devoted her life to animal welfare and public education.
Martin and her cats have been featured in a number of print and online articles as well as television programs.
If you don’t want to miss out on your chance to see these cats in person, you can purchase $18 adult and $12 children tickets for the following showtimes:
Thursday & Friday Jan. 19th & 20th @ 7 & 9pm
Saturday & Sunday, Jan. 21s t& 22nd @ 1, 4, & 7pm
Thursday & Friday Jan. 26th & 27th @ 7 & 9pm
