PHOENIX - Two teens are lucky to be alive after a drive-by shooting in Phoenix Wednesday night.

Phoenix police spokesman James Holmes said the shooting happened in a neighborhood near 43rd Avenue and McDowell Road.

Holmes said the 17 and 18-year-old were shot in their lower extremities. Both are expected to be okay.

Police are still searching for the shooting suspect who was driving a black SUV.

Police took two people unrelated to the shooting into custody for aggravated assault on a police officer and resisting arrest.
