PHOENIX - A tanker truck rolled over on westbound Interstate 10 at 24th Street Wednesday morning causing a large backup.
A Department of Public Safety spokesperson says a semi truck rear-ended a passenger vehicle, causing the truck to roll over.
According to reports, the driver of the car was trapped inside the vehicle when officials arrived.
The tanker truck is leaking fluids on the roadway, which resulted in the closure of I-10 westbound at the State Route 143 for over two hours.
Air15 video over the scene showed a significant backup in the westbound lanes as drivers were routed around the crash area.
