SAN TAN VALLEY, AZ - An SUV collided with a school bus Thursday morning in San Tan Valley.
The incident happened at Bella Vista Road and Quail Run Lane around 6:30 a.m.
According to Pinal County Sheriff Department spokeswoman Tamra Ingersoll, there were children on the school bus but there were no injuries reported.
Ingersoll says the driver of the SUV was traveling at a high rate of speed when she hit the school bus. Officials are not sure if impairment contributed to the accident.
Air15 was over the scene and showed heavy damage to the front of the SUV.
Fire officials showed up to the scene to check on the children per school district policy.
