PHOENIX - A suspect wanted in connection with an officer-involved shooting in Phoenix has been located by police.
Phoenix Police Sgt. Steve Martos said 25-year-old Adan Orduno was taken into custody Friday night at an apartment complex near 36th and Van Buren streets.
Police had been on the hunt for Orduno since October 28, when he and 23-year-old Jonathon Corrales allegedly robbed a jewelry store, prompting a police pursuit through Phoenix .
Corrales was taken into custody last week. Martos told ABC15 Corrales admitted his involvement in the armed robbery and also admitted his involvement in shooting at pursuing officers.
It is believed Orduno was driving the pair's getaway vehicle during the Phoenix pursuit.
It is unclear at this time what charges Orduno faces. Corrales has reportedly been charged with attempted second degree murder, aggravated assault, drive-by shooting, armed robbery, and weapons violations.
