PHOENIX - A suspect is in custody after his involvement in multiple Phoenix accidents Friday afternoon.
Department of Public Safety Officer Carrick Cook said a man hit multiple vehicles, and a building, near Interstate 17 and Bell Road before fleeing and eventually seeking shelter inside a Porta-Potty.
Cook said the man was driving on I-17 when he struck one vehicle, and then struck another vehicle when he was attempting to exit at Bell Road. He then drove into a building as he was coming to a stop.
Police said the suspect then jumped out of his car and ran. Authorities found him hiding inside a portable toilet nearby.
No one was injured in the accidents or the pursuit.
