PHOENIX - A wreck on southbound Interstate 17 near Grant Street Friday afternoon pushed debris into the northbound lanes, causing a second crash, and creating a major headache for drivers.

The Arizona Department of Public Safety said two people in the southbound crash were admitted to the hospital.

Northbound and southbound lanes were closed for several hours during the Friday rush hour as crews cleared the scene.
