PHOENIX - Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin is expected to make an appearance Monday at a Phoenix convention.

The non-profit Specialty Tools and Fasteners Distributors Association confirmed Monday that Palin is the event’s keynote speaker at the Phoenix Convention Center.

More than 700 booths are expected to be set up at the event, which runs 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The 34th annual convention is held for STAFDA members to participate in educational programs, seminars, and a trade show regarding construction and industrial products.

Palin was the keynote speaker at a tea party rally on Oct. 22 at the Arizona State Capitol with Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio.
