PHOENIX - A Phoenix home was destroyed Monday afternoon after a fire ripped through the house causing the roof to collapse.
Air15 video showed thick gray smoke coming from the home near 40th Avenue and Thomas Road.
Several fire trucks were on scene to battle the blaze.
Phoenix Fire Department spokesman Scott McDonald said the home was vacant when the fire broke out.
Crews are still investigating what caused the fire.
