PHOENIX - Police say one person was shot after two rival motorcycle gangs got into a fight at a Phoenix bar overnight.
Lt. White of the Phoenix Police Department said the shooting occurred in the parking lot of the Purple Turtle Bar and Grill near 51st Avenue and Indian School.
Witnesses said members of the rival gangs got into a fight inside the bar and the incident moved outside into the parking lot. The argument escalated with one person being shot in the chest, police said.
The shooter fled the scene and is considered armed and dangerous, according to authorities. The suspect is described as wearing blue jeans, a sleeveless black vest and has a red beard.
The victim was taken to a local hospital in critical condition.
