PHOENIX - An 80-year old man has died after crashing head-on into a fire truck in Litchfield Park on Tuesday night.
Deputies received a call about an accident at Litchfield Road and Missouri Avenue, according to Police. The caller said that two people were going to get into a fight.
The fire truck was responding to do first-aid at the scene when the pick-up truck involved with the fight drove off, and crashed into the fire truck at Litchfield Road and Camelback Roads, said Joaquin Enriquez spokesperson for Maricopa County Sheriff's Office.
Air15 video showed the front end of a pick-up truck completely smashed in.
MCSO is investigating whether the driver was supposed to legally be driving.
No firefighters were injured in the accident.
