PHOENIX - It's a new era for the Phoenix Suns as they tip off the season at home Wednesday night against the Golden State Warriors.
It's the team's first season without star guard Steve Nash since 2004.
There are nine new players on this year's roster, including Goran Dragic, who will be filling Nash's shoes.
The game starts at 7 p.m. at the US Airways Center, but Suns President Jason Rowley said folks can show up at 5 p.m. for some Halloween fun in the plaza.
There will be Halloween crafts for the kids, trick-or-treating, a costume contest and face painting. For the adults he said there's a Coors Light "Cold Zone" tailgating party at 5:30 p.m. on the east side of the center.
The theme of Wednesday night's game is "All for Orange" and the first 15,000 fans to show up will get a free t-shirt.
A new feature fans will notice is the Suns logo at center court. It reads Suns from both sides of the court, right-side up and upside-down.
Rowley said there are limited tickets still available to the game.
ABC15 will begin live coverage of the season opener with Craig Fouhy and Katie Raml at 4 p.m. with updates throughout the night.
