PHOENIX - Police are asking for the public's help in finding a suspect who is accused of sexually assaulting an 89-year-old woman in Phoenix.
Sgt. Darren Burch said that a 35-year-old Hispanic male forced his way into an 89-year-old woman's home around 5 a.m. on Sunday, April 14, 2013 near 57th Avenue and Thomas and sexually assaulted her.
The suspect also allegedly hit the victim during the encounter, said Burch.
The suspect is described as being 35-years-old, 5-foot-7-inches to 5-foot-8-inches tall and weighing 130 to 135 pounds, according to the police report. He also was wearing large clear stone studded earrings and spoke English.
