Authorities say foul play wasn't involved in the death of a man found floating in an east Phoenix canal last weekend.
The body of the 43-year-old man was spotted Sunday morning by a jogger near Camelback Road and 38th Street.
The Phoenix Fire Department dive team wrapped the body in a bag and used a crane to remove it from the water.
Phoenix police told the Arizona Republic that initial reports of dirt and plant material covering the man's body suggested it had been underwater for some time.
Authorities hadn't released the name of the man as of Friday
