PHOENIX - A Phoenix fire truck turned on its side after a collision in central Phoenix early Friday morning.
According to Phoenix police Sgt. Steve Martos, the accident happened just before 4 a.m. at 7th Street and Indian School Road.
The fire truck was going eastbound on Indian School Road when it was struck by an SUV.
According to police, the SUV had the green light but the fire truck did have its lights and sirens on.
Engine 9 was heading to a fire at 13th Street and Devonshire Avenue.
Four male firefighters inside the truck were taken to the hospital. One person inside the SUV was also taken to the hospital.
According to Martos, none of the injuries appear to be serious.
