PHOENIX - A woman is in critical condition Thursday morning after being hit by a vehicle on a Phoenix road.
Police said the woman was crossing the street in the area of 48th Street and Baseline Road when she was hit.
The woman was transported to a local hospital in critical condition.
Police said she was not in a crosswalk at the time of the accident.
Baseline Road was closed between 48th and 46th streets during the investigation.
