PHOENIX - Authorities are investigating a deadly shooting in west Phoenix.
According to Phoenix police spokesperson James Holmes, an 18-year-old male and his two friends were traveling eastbound in a car near 77th Avenue and Osborn Road at 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday when they were shot at.
Holmes said the shots were fired at the car from an unknown location.
According to Holmes, the 18-year-old was hit by the gunfire. His two friends took him to a hospital.
The 18-year-old was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
