PHOENIX - Phoenix police are searching for an elderly man who went missing Sunday evening.
Martin Duarte Sanchez walked away from his home and wandered his neighborhood around 5 p.m. near Van Buren and 16th streets.
Police said he hasn’t been seen since.
Sanchez is under treatment for memory loss and may appear disoriented, according to Phoenix police Detective Lana Laker.
He is described as an 89-year-old Hispanic male, 5-feet-3-inches tall, weighs 160 pounds, and has gray hair and brown eyes. He also has a gray mustache.
He only speaks Spanish and may not know his home address, Laker said.
Anyone who may know his whereabouts is encouraged to call police at 602-534-2121.
