PHOENIX - Authorities are investigating an apparent deadly shooting in West Phoenix.
Sgt. Trent Crump of the Phoenix Police Department said officers responded to a shooting call near 51st Avenue and Indian School Road late Sunday afternoon.
Crump said an adult male had been shot and the injuries appear to be deadly.
Authorities said a Hispanic male was seen running away from the area, but it is unknown if he is involved with the shooting.
No other details were immediately available.
