PHOENIX - Phoenix police say a man is in serious condition Thursday night after a man he was selling drugs to pulled a gun on him and shot him in the face.
Police said the incident started when three people went to an apartment complex near 48th Street and Thomas to buy drugs.
When they arrived at the apartment, two people inside jumped them.
One of the three drug buyers pulled out a gun and shot one of the apartment occupants in the face.
Police said the shooting victim is in serious condition at a local hospital. The victim's friend took off, but police found him late Thursday night near 19th Avenue and Indian School Road.
The three people that went to the apartment to buy the drugs are being questioned by police.
