PHOENIX - Phoenix police say a man was found dead in a parked vehicle late Sunday night along Interstate 10.
The man appeared to have died from natural causes, said Phoenix police.
An officer with the Arizona Department of Public Safety noticed the vehicle around 10:30 p.m. on Interstate 10 near Guadalupe.
The officer was about to put a sticker on the window tagging it as an abandoned car, police said, which is standard procedure.
That’s when the officer noticed the man sitting in the front passenger seat.
Police said there were no signs of trauma or foul play, but detectives are still investigating due to the unusual circumstances.
The car doors were locked, and the keys were in the ignition, police said, adding that the deceased man was the registered owner of the vehicle.
