PHOENIX - Police say a woman was killed in a two-vehicle crash Friday morning at a Phoenix intersection.
The collision happened around 3 a.m. at 7th Street and Broadway Road.
Phoenix police Sgt. Tommy Thompson said 34-year-old Cypriana Zamora was killed in the crash, and a 23-year-old woman is in critical condition.
Both of them were passengers in a 2005 Dodge four-door sedan. The 24-year-old male driver is suffering non-life threatening injuries.
The other vehicle involved was a 2011 Chevrolet pickup truck.
The 55-year-old male driver of the pickup truck is suffering non-life threatening injuries.
Crump said early indications are the driver of the sedan failed to stop at a red light.
Investigators are looking into the possibility of impairment being a factor, Crump said.
