PHOENIX - Authorities say one person has died in a motorcycle accident that closed a central Phoenix freeway for over an hour.
The accident happened around 3 a.m. on the southbound Interstate 17 ramp to the westbound Interstate 10.
The Department of Public Safety says speed may have been a factor in the crash that killed a man in his mid-20s.
The freeway re-opened just before 6:30 a.m.
