PHOENIX - Children were able to get their eyes checked out for free Thursday at Chase Field.

For the third consecutive year, Davis Vision’s Focus on America partnered with the Arizona Diamondbacks to offer free vision screenings and glasses to area children.

The offer was good for elementary school children with limited or no insurance.

Valley Visionworks stores will provide the children with free follow-up care.

More than 100 children took advantage of Thursday’s event.
