PHOENIX - A man is in the hospital Sunday night after being stabbed at a Phoenix light rail station.

Police said the victim was stabbed at the station near 7th Avenue and Camelback.

ABC15 was on the scene when police captured and arrested the stabbing suspect.

The victim was taken to a local hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

Officers told ABC15 they believe both men are transients. Police are still trying to determine why the suspect stabbed the man.
