PHOENIX - A suspect has been arrested in connection with a fatal shooting outside a Phoenix apartment complex earlier this week.

Phoenix police say 25-year-old Francisco Javier Cabrerra-Soto was taken into custody Thursday. He's being held on suspicion of homicide.

Officers arrived at the scene just before 3 a.m. Tuesday and found 34-year-old Ismael Cuevas Ante dead from gunshot wounds.

He reportedly was shot in the back several times.

A motive for the shooting hasn't been released by police, who don't know whether Cabrerra-Soto has a lawyer yet.
