PHOENIX - A federally mandated emergency drill will take place Wednesday at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport and it may look dramatic to some.
Airport workers and emergency responders will begin a major training exercise at 12:30 p.m.
Fire, police and medical personnel will surround a U.S. Airways plane at the south end of the airport near Terminal 2.
Even FBI agents will be on hand to train.
The massive response is part of a federal requirement to prepare for worst-case scenario emergency situations.
Every three years, airports like Sky Harbor must complete training events like this one.
While the scenario has not been released you can expect to see what appears to be an emergency at the airport.
It should be completed by 2:30 p.m.
