Fire guts garage of west Phoenix home

PHOENIX - Fire officials are investigating the cause of a blaze that gutted the garage of a west Phoenix home Sunday.
Scott McDonald with the Phoenix Fire Department said the fire broke out at a home near 111th Avenue and Indian School Road.
A family home at the time of the fire was able to escape safely.
The fire was contained to the garage.
