PHOENIX - US Airways says one of its planes on a flight from Las Vegas to Charlotte, N.C., was diverted Monday morning to Phoenix after the crew reported fumes in the cabin.
Airline spokesman Bill McGlashen says mechanics are checking the plane and that there's no indication what caused the reported fumes.
McGlashen says paramedics tended to six crew members and one passenger after the Airbus A321 landed at Sky Harbor International Airport.
Fire Capt. Ton Mure says one passenger was transported to a hospital. He says he has no information about that person's medical condition.
McGlashen says the airline is working to putĀ passengers on other flights so they can continue their journeys.
McGlashen says he doesn't know how many passengers were on the plane.
