PHOENIX - Phoenix police have identfied a woman killed by a car on 36th Street and Thomas as 86 year old Vera M. Dodd.
Police say Dodd who celebrated her birthday last week, crossed the intersection against the light with a walker.
Dodd was taken to the hospital but she died from her injuries.
Police say the driver of the car was going through a green light, and the driver is not at fault for the accident at this time.
