PHOENIX - No matter which Major League Baseball team you root for, you may still think it's "priceless" to get up close to the rich history of the sport.
Thousands of fans are getting that opportunity this weekend at the All-Star FanFest festivities in downtown Phoenix.
A popular spot to see the real uniforms worn by the "greats" is the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum section at the Phoenix Convention Center.
"It's priceless to see the old uniforms," said baseball fan Tracy Latham of Phoenix. "What you're seeing right here is baseball. It's truly baseball."
Latham is among many fans walking through the gallery Saturday afternoon to check out the jerseys worn by the stars like Lou Gehrig, Mike Schmidt, and Carlton Fisk.
"Too bad we can't have this everyday," said fan Kym Hornbeak of Phoenix as he toured the museum.
If you get a chance to check out the museum, you will also find a timeline of "The Women in Baseball", previous All-Star Game programs, and jerseys of your favorite Arizona Diamondbacks.
