PHOENIX - Valley homeowners facing foreclosure have the opportunity to meet with loan counselors at a weekend event in downtown Phoenix.
Chase is hosting the mortgage modification event where homeowners with Chase mortgages can meet face to face with loan advisors.
Chase is expecting over 1,000 borrowers to attend the event being held at the Phoenix Wyndham Hotel, located at 50 W. Adams Street.
The Chase loan advisors will work with homeowners to find the best solution for their particular needs.
The following services will be available at the event which runs 8 a.m. - 8 p.m. through Monday, October 11:
Initial counseling for homeowners applying for a mortgage modification
Counseling for customers who are current on their mortgage but are struggling
Short-sale assistance for customers who cannot afford their home or don't want to stay in it
Drop off documents that they need to submit as part of their trial plan
Company officials say more than 50 Chase Home Loan counselors will be available to help homeowners with a Chase, EMC or WaMu service mortgage that are facing foreclosure.
Spokeswoman Mary Jane Rogers advises homeowners attending the event to go to Chase.com for information about documents to bring with them.
