PHOENIX - Will Bristol Palin, daughter of former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin, be Arizona's next radio personality?
"She seemed like a really nice person," said Mix 96.9 morning radio host Mathew Blades. "The ball is in her court, but she seems interested."
Blades said Palin had a meeting with management at the Phoenix station on Friday and things went well, so well they offered her a job as co-host with Blades on the radio station's morning show.
Palin recently moved from Alaska to the city of Maricopa with her young son and reportedly has a new boyfriend. But she didn't come to the Valley for the radio gig -- that job was offered later.
But Palin is apparently no stranger to radio work. She is a frequent guest on the Bob and Mark show in Anchorage, Alaska.
"She is a really sweet, smart girl and I think she will do a great job," said host Bob Lester. "We always tried to get her on as much as possible."
Palin has not agreed to the offer yet. There's no word if there is any expected answer coming soon.
