PHOENIX - Police hope security camera footage will help solve two armed robberies at Phoenix convenient stores.

ABC15 was first to get security camera footage of the robberies in which the suspects take advantage of their close-up shots.

The first happened just weeks ago on Jan. 25, 2012 around 4:20 p.m.

A Hispanic man in his 30's walked into the Circle K store at 15th Avenue and Indian School Road.

He approached the clerk at the register, showed the worker his handgun and demanded money.

He got away with an unspecified amount of cash.

Several months earlier on Oct. 13, 2011, two young Hispanic males between the ages of 15 and 18 walked into the Circle K store at 83rd Avenue and Indian School Road.

They walked to the back of the store, grabbed a case of beer, then approached the register.

Once there, one of the suspects pulled out a handgun, demanded cash then pulled the trigger.

The gun did not fire, but the pair made off with cash.

Silent Witness is offering a $1,000 reward for information in each case. You can call Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS or you can go online .

Circle K also maintains a Facebook page with photos and information about robberies in their stores.
