PHOENIX, AZ - Arizona’s Lottery Powerball jackpot is up to an estimated $240 million for Wednesday's draw.
The Powerball jackpot has been growing since the end of April when it was at only $40 million, rolling 13 times without a winning match.
If the winning ticket is sold, the winner has the option of taking the prize in cash, putting $159.7 million in their pocket before taxes.
Since the $2 Powerball launched in Arizona in January, 10 second-place winners have received a $1 million prize.
Only three other states have had 10 or more winners of the second-place prizes since they were launched.
In order to be eligible for this week’s drawing, don’t forget to purchase your Powerball tickets before 7 p.m. Wednesday.
