PHOENIX - A three vehicle collision on the Loop 202 closed the left lanes of traffic near 24th Street for hours Tuesday night.

The accident happened around 6 p.m.

Drivers on Loop 202 experienced significant delays while crews tried to clear the scene. Air15 video showed traffic backed up for miles while police conducted their investigation.

Officials said spilled oil caused the cleanup to take extra time.

There is no further information at this time.
