PHOENIX - Another dust storm blew through the Phoenix metropolitan area Monday afternoon, prompting a warning for drivers from the Arizona Department of Transportation.
ADOT warned drivers in Phoenix that the blowing dust has a big effect on visibility and has the potential to create dangerous conditions on Valley roadways.
Monday afternoon's storm came on the heels of one Saturday night that enveloped the greater Phoenix area in a cloud of yellow-gray blowing dust.
Arizona's monsoon season began June 15 and runs through Sept. 30.
