PHOENIX - Police are asking for help identifying two suspects who were involved in a homicide that took place last night.

A 22-year-old Hispanic male was visiting his 41-year-old Hispanic male friend around 5:30 p.m. at 8500 N. 22nd Avenue in Phoenix.

Two male suspects entered the residence and forced the men to hit the floor at gunpoint.

The younger male victim fought the two suspects and was knocked unconscious.

After awakening, he found the older victim unconscious and bleeding.

He ran to a neighbor’s house to call 911 and the older victim was taken to the hospital where he died from his injuries.

The young, surviving victim gave police a brief description of the suspects.

They are described as being Hispanic males around 25 years old. Both were wearing dark, long-sleeved shirts, long pants and bandanas over their faces. One was wearing a ball cap.

If you have any information regarding this incident, call the Phoenix Police Department at 602-262-6151 or Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS, 480-TESTIGO for Spanish.
